What is the Quickest way to melt an ice cube? For our science experiment this week, we explore what would melt an ice cube quicker - salt, sugar, hot water, cold water and we tried something else. We made sure to do a fair test. We placed six ice cubes into a separate part of a muffin tray and put the salt, sugar, hot and cold water on each. We timed them to see which would melt first. Here are our results.
Radio Talk On Antarctica radio communication is so important. It is used to keep in touch with people on the ice. Every group of people are in radio contact with their base. We wrote our own radio message using radio talk. For each letter a different word is used to avoid misunderstanding.
